Does your home need A BRUSH WITH KINDNESS?

A Brush With Kindness is a Habitat for Humanity program designed for existing homeowners whose houses need a little sprucing up.  Like Habitat itself, A Brush With Kindness helps restore pride in a community by engaging residents and neighbors in an effort to improve homes in that neighborhood.

A Brush With Kindness provides the following to qualified homeowners:

• Exterior Painting
• Yard Work and Landscaping
• Minor Exterior Repairs

Interested homeowners must be able to demonstrate:

• Proof of homeownership and residency in Miami-Dade County. Program participants must live in their own home.
• Financial need. This program is for low-income households earning less than 80% area median income (see eligibility grid below).
• Willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity and volunteers.
• Ability to contribute a small share of the project costs.
• Intention of staying in the home for at least 3 years after repairs are completed.
