Part of Cordis Corporation’s mission statement is to provide support to the communities in which its employees live and work. Cordis meets this objective in part by sponsoring Habitat houses in Miami-Dade County, home to their corporate headquarters.

In April 2004, Cordis built it’s third house for a low-income family!

In addition to underwriting the construction costs for Habitat homes, Cordis partners in Miami Habitat's annual Blitz Build, a nine-day event. The corporation has a very large workforce and generously allows employees the opportunity to work on the sponsored home for each day of the Blitz.
