Habitat for Humanity build homes in Liberty City

As part of a continuing effort of building and refurbishing homes in Miami-Dade's Liberty City area, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami (Miami Habitat) held it's 13th Annual Blitz Build from April 4-16.

"Habitat for Humanity has been building in LIberty City since 1991 we have built more than 100 homes here," said Mario Artecona, CEO of Habitat for Humanity. "We build there because that is the biggest need and area which has traditionally been abandoned and taken advantage of. We plan to stay in Liberty City for a long time and are projected to complete our 200th home by the end of 2012. Read More
