In keeping to his campaign promises, Gov. Rick Scott’s recently released proposed budget features both dramatic tax cuts a well as the elimination of crucial funding for essential services. The governor seeks to achieve a balanced budget, but unfortunately, it appears that this will be done at the expense of crucial areas.
