ABOUT HABITAT YOUNG PROFESSIONALS NETWORK The short-term vision of Habitat Young Professionals Network is to raise money, create awareness, and promote volunteerism for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami. In the long-term, HYP members are to become ambassadors for the Habitat cause, transitioning into prominent contributors on the HYP Board of Directors and in their communities. We are a diverse group of young professionals ages 21-45 that offers a combination of social networking, community outreach, event fundraising, and entrepreneurial volunteer activities in support of the Miami Habitat for Humanity affiliate. WAYS TO GET INVOLVED HYP Miami offers a number of opportunities to get connected, get committed and make a difference in the community. One of the best ways to get involved is to join a HYP committee, where people wear several hats in an entrepreneurial, flexible organizational model. Committee members are asked to attend monthly events and to meet once a month to discuss upcoming events. They are also expected to provide opportunities for future activities, assist with member recruitment, and make significant improvements to HYP. Currently there are seven committees on which you may serve:
