HYP CafeinaLast Thursday, in a small, hip corner of Miami’s emerging Wynwood Art District, a group of socially aware young professionals got together to lift a glass and lift the hopes of families & communities across Miami-Dade County. For a group dedicated to building houses, getting together for a night of knocking down lumber at Lucky Strike Lanes might have seemed like a counterintuitive way to build camaraderie and goodwill. But the more than $1,400 raised for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami through donations and by raffling some very hip items indicated that HYP’s Bowling for Homes event was right on mission after all.
