It was a beautiful Tuesday afternoon, and all the stars were out. The daytime stars, of course. Those stars were from NBC’s long-running soap Days of Our Lives, as well as Telemundo and mun2. Yo Gabba Gabba
The Saturday and Sunday shows of Yo Gabba Gabba Live! at the American Airlines Arena raised the roof – in more ways than one! Thanks to a partnership between Habitat for Humanity and the Yo Gabba Gabba Live! There’s a Party In My City! Tour, the two Miami shows raised nearly $6000 for Miami Habitat ($1 for every ticket sold), or enough for one roof on a newly constructed Habitat home. Additional proceeds from the Yo Gabba Gabba event came from a VIP auction prior to the shows, and even more support will come from an auction of an original painting which South Florida artist LEBO composed live onstage with the Yo Gabba Gabba gang. (That auction will be live until December 2nd here: http://www.charitybuzz.com/auctions/yoga bbagabba/catalog_items).
Many thanks to DJ Lance Rock and the Yo Gabba Gabba gang for helping create home ownership opportunities for low income families in Miami-Dade County.
