The Peroni Golf Event was held Wednesday, October 20th at the Miami Beach Golf Club, with all proceeds benefitting Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami.  Fifty-eight players participated, and more showed up for the post-tournament dinner and silent auction at Smith & Wollensky’s.  Volunteers from the Habitat Young Professionals Network were on hand to help coordinate the event, which attracted more than 15 prominent sponsors.

Auction and raffle items provided by the Miami Heat, the W South Beach, and Polo Ralph Lauren (among others) brought in over $5000 for Miami Habitat, while event sponsorship by Premier Beverage, Red Bull, Equinox and, of course, Peroni provided an additional $2300.

The generous support from sponsors and participants during the Peroni Golf Event helped HYP reach its fundraising goal for the year – with more than two months to spare!  Through events like this, HYP has helped create home ownership opportunities for low income families across the county.
