ReStore-ing Hope, One Item at a Time

Miami Habitat's ReStore is a retail outlet that sells donated building materials, appliances and household furniture to the public.  All of the proceeds from the ReStore are channeled back into the construction of Habitat homes.
In addition to being a vital source of revenue funding Miami Habitat's mission of creating homeownership opportunities, the ReStore is also a way for Habitat to repurpose surplus building materials and other supplies.  Residential construction in Miami-Dade County generates enough waste to build an additional 575 houses a month; to keep homes affordable and efficient, Habitat finds ways to avoid this waste.  The ReStore helps families across the Greater Miami community reuse what we can't reduce or recycle.
The Habitat ReStore sells doors, tiles, bath fixtures, lighting, appliances, furniture, building materials, tools, hurricane panels, and other home improvement items.   The program benefits those individuals and companies that donate items, which are tax-deductible gifts; the shoppers who acquire these items at a 90% discount; and low-income families, whose homes are being built with the proceeds.
The ReStore is open to the public.  Come down and visit us!  We're located at:
