Eight Homes, Endless Possibilities at Habitat Acres

On March 7, we celebrated the dedication of the first eight homes at Habitat Acres. This is our boldest answer yet to the need for affordable housing in our community. Seeing these homes rise fills our hearts with hope and pride. Together with volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and neighbors, we are opening doors to opportunity through affordable homeownership.

These homes are more than walls and roofs, they are a foundation for stability, safety, and the chance for families to dream, grow, and thrive.

Habitat Acres has been a true team effort. From volunteers swinging hammers to sponsors lending their support and families envisioning their future, this project shows the power of community in a city where housing is often out of reach.

For our sponsors, supporting Miami Habitat means investing in lasting change. For volunteers, it’s a chance to care for neighbors and see tangible impact. And for us, it’s an incredible moment, after months of permits, planning, and construction, watching homes come to life for families who need them most.
